My journey began when I was 14 and I bought my first dumbbells. I was always a skinny kid and got picked on quite often because of it. I wanted to change that. Although I had a bit of an inconsistent start, I ended up falling in love with the gym and the lifestyle that comes with it. Now, I'm the current WNBF Men's Physique Champion and new Pro Athlete. I achieved this all self-coached through countless hours of self-education research and currently completing my Kinesiology diploma, and using the people around me that were knolwedgeable in the field. My only goal through Evolve Fitness is to help people become the best versions of themselves they can possible be. Don't be afraid to come say hi if you see me around (unless I'm mid-set) :)
Growing up I was never in good shape. I always played sports and tried to be active but it just never happened. November 2019 came and I finallydecided to pursue a change in my life and that was to lose my excesss weight. I put together a diet plan and although it wasn't fun and there was a lot of trial and error, by the first few months of the new year, I was locked in. I had lost about 40Ibs before I started working out in May of 2020. By October of the same year, I was down to 178Ibs. I could not believe what I had accomplished. But the work was not done. After the initial strict dieting phase, I found it hard to find a well balanced diet and struggled with binge eating. Once again, after trial and error, I found the balance between eating healthy but also foods I enjoyed and even started creating my own meals that might one day turn into a cookbook... I can;t believe what I've completed and couldn't have done it without my friends and family, but at the end of the day, I put in the work.
